So I'm being dragged kicking and screaming into the modern age. Journals are now blogs, and anyone can read it while I'm still alive. Guess I'll have to be careful what I post. I don't expect to be posting every day... but every once in a while I wax philosophical and need a place to write it out.
One good thing about this option, it has a built in spell checker so maybe someone other than me can actually read it once it's written.
I'm doing this right now because my Aunts needed help getting their museum site revamped (topfunaviation.com btw) and I also want to offer tech training at my girls school and web site development is the top of everyone's wish list for what they want to learn. So, I'm going to set up this site to have some idea of what Weebly can do and then design the training from there.
I think really the first thing I should do is just have them watch a selection of the training video's already out there then do one on one sessions to answer questions. This site seems pretty easy to use so far.
After retrofitting DP 10 years ago I'm still in awe of how tech savvy the staff at cornerstone is overall. I remember spending months walking around campus showing people where all THREE power switches were.... no the computer isn't broken, you have to turn it all on.... and these teachers now are installing their own smart board drivers and creating slide shows with very little help. It's amazing what a few years can do.
Well I do have to be up in the morning by 6:30 and it's after midnight, so more to come later.
Good night world.
